Introduction to Proven Smart Study Methods

Hi I’m Pash and welcome to my Blog: SMARTSTUDY LAB where you will learn about research backed smartest ways to study to understand better and remember more for longer. In this blog i will share tips, suggestions and proven methods to live a smart life and study smarter. 

By studying smarter you will (a) learn more in less time, (b) remember more for longer (c) score better marks in your exams while studying lesser number of hours and (d) spend more time on your hobbies like playing sports without affecting your studies.I will tell you in detail about research backed smarter ways to study like spaced study, interleaved study, test enhanced learning, retrieval practice, elaborative interrogation and associative learning and many more such simple yet very powerful smart study methods. The good part is that you do not have to practise and master all smarter ways to study in one go. You can start by practicing only a few and once you get comfortable with them then you can add a few more and master them as well. And the best part is that all of this is possible without spending any money.

It does not matter if you are studying for your school or college exams, or entrance exams or you are trying to learn a new language or trying to learn a musical instrument. It does not really matter whether you are 15 years old or 25 years old or 75 years old. The research backed smart study methods that i will share here can be applied to anything that you are trying to learn and at any age. Using these smart study methods, you will be able to use your study time much more efficiently and effectively.

Some of you may already know how to study smarter but many many of you do not. I see it around me all the time - students studying longer and longer hours or teachers and parents telling students to study harder and for longer hours. But after a point, studying more and for longer doesn’t necessarily help improve academic performance. In some cases, longer hours might actually worsen academic performance. After a point, the longer hours of study do not necessarily mean better marks in the exams. If you spend hours and hours studying, without improving your academic performance, then I can help you to study smarter and help you learn better and remember more for longer. The great news is that smart studying can actually be taught but the pity is that no one actually teaches us how. With this blog, now everyone will know the secrets of getting better marks in exams while studying less. I wish someone had explained me these simple yet extremely powerful smart study methods when I was a student. I would have saved thousands of hours of my study time.
